In SkyMed second season, episode called Code Silver, Kyla take her mother to have an operation as her liver was damaged due to drinking.
As the hospital was busy, no doctor came to see her mother, so Kyla decided to convince them to hurry up, in her own way.
Kyla took both the nurse and the medical student as hostages asking them to take care of her mother and to operate on her to save her life.
The medical student tried to inject Kyla, but Kyla was fast and shot her first, while the nurse went towards the phone to sound the alarm putting the whole hospital under lock down.
Honestly, I love Kyla, she knows what matters to her, and instead of talking a lot to express her love to her mother, she expresses her feelings so little and does what she thinks is right, willing to cross all the red lines in order to achieve her goal and save her mother, not only she was risking being shot for taking over the hospital, but also willing to take the procedure so she can give part of her liver in order to save her mother.
You can see her action as reckless or necessary, but you can't help but admire her courage and her love to her mother.
